Mr. Carlile has offered certified mediator services since 2017and has participated in numerous mediations as a party representative and as a mediator. His broad experience in transactional matters including banking, business separations, contract drafting and disputes, and bankruptcy and insolvency litigation, inform his measured and profound understanding of these complex issues.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mr. Carlile\u2019s clients have enjoyed significant successes, including banks impacted by large fraudulent mortgage schemes, and the State of Utah in one of the then largest property and casualty insurance company insolvency proceedings in the nation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Mr. Carlile maintains an AV Preeminent (5) rating with Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest rating awarded to attorneys for professional competence and ethics. He has been included on the list of <i>The Best Lawyers in America\u00a9<\/i> in Commercial Litigation and has been included in\u00a0<i>Mountain States Super Lawyers <\/i>in the category of Business Litigation. He has also been voted by his peers as one of Utah\u2019s \u201cLegal Elite,\u201d as published in <i>Utah Business Magazine.<\/i><\/p>\n<p>After 18 months of service abroad as associate area legal counsel for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Mr. Carlile is now Of Counsel to Ray Quinney &amp; Nebeker, P.C. where he continues his litigation and mediation practice.\u00a0 He is a certified mediator through Northwestern University School of Professional Studies. He has extensive experience in the following areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Commercial Litigation<\/li>\n<li>Business Litigation<\/li>\n<li>Eminent Domain<\/li>\n<li>Trust and Estate Disputes<\/li>\n<li>Land Use and Zoning Disputes<\/li>\n<li>Construction Litigation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In 1978, Mr. Carlile graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting.\u00a0 He then attended the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University where he received his law degree in 1981.\u00a0 Following law school, he clerked for U.S. District Court Judge David K.
