Clark Fetzer, Esq.Clark Fetzer is a problem solver.   Finding solutions is his work as a mediator and is at the heart of his advocacy for his clients.

He has practiced law since 1981.  Since 1986 his practice has focused on resolving construction disputes for clients including general contractors, sureties, subcontractors, owners, and design professionals.  Construction disputes often involve several parties, multiple issues, and many details.  Out of his experience with such complex problems he has developed the ability to listen, to communicate, and to cooperate.  Those abilities carry over into his approach to other legal matters, which have included adoption, commercial transactions, insurance regulation, personal injury and property damage, public procurement, real estate, and American Indian tribal rights.  He has also authored and edited state legislation.

Clark is a member of the Utah State Bar and the American Bar Association (ABA).  In the Utah State Bar he is a member of the Construction Section (having served as its chair) and the Dispute Resolution Section.  He is active in the ABA’s Forum on the Construction Industry and the Fidelity and Surety Law Committee in the Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section.

He has spoken and written for seminars on construction and procurement law.  He is rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell and has been listed among Utah Business Magazine’s Legal Elite™.

Clark’s mediation training includes Utah Dispute Resolution Basic Mediation Training and Program of Instruction for Lawyers at Harvard Law School’s Program on Negotiation.  He has mediated and arbitrated a variety of construction disputes.
