Mr. Evans has been practicing law since 1994 and is currently a shareholder at the law firm of Ray Quinney & Nebeker, P.C. His practice emphasis is in complex litigation, including commercial, business, contract, construction and tort cases. His approach to resolving disputes is to seek quick resolution, often through aggressive positioning of case issues. Mr. Evans’ varied experiences before multiple courts, judges, arbitrators and mediators provides him with a depth of knowledge in evaluating the risks, expenses, and potential rewards of litigation.
Mr. Evans graduated from the S.J. Quinney College of Law in 1994, and also received a Master’s in Business Administration that same year from the University of Utah. This unique degree combination makes him better able to understand and evaluate financial issues and impacts they have on legal disputes. Mr. Evans has participated in hundreds of mediations involving diverse clientele. Mr. Evans has represented individuals and both small and very large companies. Mr. Evans continues to participate in numerous court proceedings as an active litigator. His current knowledge about the judges and courts in Utah is extremely helpful in the mediation process in order to assist participants in evaluating the appropriate risks of their unique and particular case.
Mr. Evans was formerly a partner with the Denver based law firm of Holme Roberts & Owen. Mr. Evans was recently designated as one of the recommended lawyers for litigation as a “Utah Rising Star” byBenchmark Litigation and is an AV rated lawyer by Martindale Hubble.
