Work Experience:  Served as a Second District Court judge from 1984 to 1992. Prior to district court appointment, served as a judge in the Third Circuit Court from 1978 to 1984.  Served as an Ogden City judge from 1974 to 1978. Prior to appointment to the bench, was chief deputy to the Weber County Attorney, an estate and gift tax attorney for the Internal Revenue Service, and in private practice in Ogden.

Education: University of Utah, J.D.,1969.

Professional Licenses:  Admitted to the Utah State Bar in 1969.

ADR Experience: Mediator and Arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association 1992 – 2001. In January of 1999, decided to specialize in mediation. Has mediated over 2,000 cases.

Awards:  District Court Judge of the Year by the Utah State Bar.

Fees:            $300 per hour.
